Remembering the Holocaust
This webpage was made in memory of the tragedy that took place during World War II. About 6 million Jews were executed during the Holocaust. We promise to remember those who died for their beliefs.

Ms. Morales's 2nd - 6th period classes worked on a special project: The Holocaust Quilt. We started researching the Holocaust while reading the novel Night by Elie Wiesel. Then we did research in the library on several aspects of the Holocaust such as concentration camps, heroes, the Gestapo, nazism, Adolf Hitler and others. All the information we gathered was written as power notes, portrayed through art in the form of a quilt that is hanging in Rockway's library. After researching, we got a special visit from Arno Erban, a holocaust survivor. He told us how he survived the Nazis and Aushiwitz, one of the worst concentration camps. All of Ms. Morales' students were really interested in the topic. |
